A drunk driver hit a police cruiser and drove away, later telling an officer she thought she had hit a snowbank, police said.An Orono police officer was on patrol Thursday night, when the woman hit his cruiser, police said.The officer was able to track down the driver, and arrested her on an OUI charge and a charge of leaving the scene of an accident."The driver’s excuse you ask? She thought she hit a snowbank," police wrote on the department's Facebook page. "When you can’t tell the difference between a car and snow, that may be a sign that you shouldn’t be driving."No one was hurt. The driver's name was not released.
