Officials held a groundbreaking ceremony Tuesday at the future site of an Ashley Furniture distribution center in Mesquite.
The Dallas Morning News reports that the center — to be located at 790 Faithon P. Lucas Blvd. — is expected to employ about 350 workers after it opens.
At the ceremony, Ashley Furniture officials, the mayor of Mesquite and Gov. Greg Abbott spoke about the center's benefits.
