Private investigators still following possible leads in Rodrigo Falcon case

Private investigators probing the disappearance of Aviemore man Rodrigo Falcon have said they are pursuing possible leads but his vanishing remains unexplained.
The 33-year-old was reported missing on Sunday, 11 December, last year.
The last confirmed sighting of him was on CCTV camera walking on Grampian Road towards the southern end of Aviemore around 3.10am despite him living in Dalfaber in the opposite direction.
Since then nothing has been seen of or heard from Rodrigo.
John Maciver, an investigator with Impartial Investigations, said: "We have spoken to a number of people who were in Rod's company before he was last seen but what happened that chilly morning in December is still unexplained.
"However, as with most investigations, there are various strands to this and we are now checking out other possible leads.
"We are very grateful to everyone who has called in and emailed with information. Some of that information may yet prove to be very relevant. The public's help may eventually prove to be the key.
"So we are renewing our appeal to anyone who think they may know anything about what happened to Rod to get in touch. We would ask them to call our 24-hour voicemail on 0800 887 0111 or to email rod@mm.st."
Police officers and volunteers carried out extensive searches and enquiries in the days and weeks which followed his disappearance.
Local businesses gave their workers time off to join in with the search whilst other establishments opened their doors to provide free food and a hot drink for those who turned-out.
The initial searches centred on the south end of the village and Lynwilg area where it is thought Rodrigo, who hails from Argentina, was last spotted by the Kinakyle cliffs by the B9152 road.
The River Spey and other watercourses and lochs were checked by police divers for any sign of Rodrigo who moved to the Aviemore area around eight years ago.
Posters continue to be displayed by local businesses and on street furniture in Aviemore drawing attention to the disappearance in the hope they could lead to new sightings or other clues.
Rodrigo is described as being 5ft 6in tall, of slim build, with dark hair cut in a mullet style with a moustache and beard.
He was wearing baggy jeans and a red jumper but not his distinctive coat which is understood to have been left behind along with his phone at The Vault nightclub despite the freezing conditions outside.

Rodrigo was reported missing when he failed to turn up to work at Glenmore's popular Pine Marten Bar and Scran on the Monday.
His mother flew in from Argentina a few weeks after he vanished to get briefing from the police on their investigation to find him and to see the area for herself.
